Dr. Deepti Purohit graduated from Government Medical College, Miraj and was conferred the Best Outgoing Student of the college. She topped all the 4 years of MBBS at her college.

She completed her M.S. in Ophthalmology from Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik). She won the Bell Pharma best paper award during her postgraduation.

She did her fellowship in General Ophthalmology from H.V. Desai Eye Hospital, Pune and later did a short term fellowship in Glaucoma from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. She received phacoemulsification training at Nayantara Nursing Home, Sangli. She worked as a junior consultant at Laxmi Eye Institute, Panvel and Netrajyot Eye Hospital, Panvel.

Dr. Deepti has also completed her postgraduate diploma in Health Care Management from Welingkar Institute of Management.
